Tuesday: In the Office

Hello! How are you doing? The weather might have turned but our minds are still firmly on sunshine!

My Mum has been a sewing genius once again and has turned our second bolt of traditional kitenge fabric into these stunning market bags!

Each one is washable, fully lined and foldable, ready for wherever you plan to take it!

If want a little insight into the history of the Kitenge, please take a look at our previous post here.

If you would like to check these out 'in the flesh' so to speak, you can visit our bag section of our Etsy shop by clicking this link. I have a sneaky suspicion that all of our bags are on sale this week. Just in case you are stocking up ready for the summer.

We've also just listed a selection of our favourite 'gecko' bracelets. We have always given this name to them as their long leather ties reminded us of gecko's tails and Amit's story of one running up his trouser leg while we were having a phone meeting! That story never gets old and we chuckle every time we remember it!

Today's agenda involves us looking at a particularly beautiful piece of kitenge fabric that has a stunning, but large pattern. Too large for bags and we think that it would make the most dreamy tablecloth.

We hope you've got a lovely day planned too, even if you need an umbrella! As always, please press the little heart at the bottom of this post to let us know that you have visited.

Until next time x
